Hi there! I'm Rachael and I’m a designer with a wide range of experience who can come up with a creative solution for just about anything. After almost a decade in the corporate world, I decided to branch off on my own and form Genetic Lemon Creative Studio. Corporate work was missing so much of what I love most about design—connecting with other people who are passionate about what they do and helping them bring their vision for their business to life. It's beyond fulfilling to be able to use my love of design to do good in the world.
I'm chronically ill and disabled, and the name Genetic Lemon came from my chronic health issues and my twisted sense of humor. I'm the genetic lemon—I look great on the outside, but under the hood nothing works right. If you're laughing, good, it's meant to be funny. Genetic Lemon was created from both my passion for design and helping others as well as a very practical need to be able to work in a way that fits both me and my health, and I'm loving every moment of it.
